"Modern high-rise hotel at the south edge of Old Town. Right next door to several shopping malls and to Noordin Street. Very convenient to Thaipussam celebrations many of which take place right in front of the building. Armenian Street is about 15 minute walk. Beautiful views of Georgetown from club-level floors and from the lounge itself. Main breakfast restaurant was very busy, perhaps because of the ongoing Indian festival."

"The room was excellamt quality, spacious and very clean. Breakfast was very good with cooked options of local and European food as well as a good selection of buffet options. Friendly and helpful staff. Only downside is that it is slightly outside georgetown but this is not a criticism of hotel. Excellent pool and gym. Great hotel"

"Very nice and helpful staff. Faucet in the bathroom was leaking, but overall the room was ok. Good breakfast made on the spot (so it's fresh with fresh ingredients). A bit "rusty" (maybe some renovations could be done to make it look like a real 4* hotel), but not really problematic unless you're really looking for a luxurious hotel. Close to everything in Georgetown which is a plus."

"Stayed 4 nights from Jan 2 - 6th. Quality service overall given the its busy holiday season. Price was slightly on the high end as there were options elsewhere, just wanted to try it given its location on Gurney Drive which was an attraction. "

"Enjoyed the clean, brand new property during our visit to Penang. It was a last minute change because of the location and it turned out we made the right choice. Everything was perfect from checking in to checking out. Service was excellent, every staff greeted us with smiles and was helpful. Loved the coffee in the lobby and the scent of the shampoo and body wash (wished I can purchase a set home.) They even provided us umbrellas on the rainy days. "Everyone was very kind and concerned about our experience. The hotel is beautiful and located on the edge of the historic area. The rooms are comfortable. They serve an amazing breakfast and tea. When on the first day, restaurant staff learned I was a vegetarian, they went and made special food for me! Then, afterwards they checked in with me to make sure I had a good selection. Quite amazing. A wonderful choice in Penang."

"Being on a unesco world heritage site, I loved their use of Old colonial furniture and fixtures. Staff were great. Very friendly. Great breakfast. Right in the middle of old town Georgetown. Close to the free CAT shuttle bus. The Red Village market a perfect place for great reasonably priced dinner. Would stay there again"
