Character
It was my family’s first time staying at any resort. The lasting impression id based overall on whether or not they’d recommend this location to friends and family. They would with a vague understanding of, you’re not going to Catalonia costa mujeres for the food. You’re going for the comfort and service. You’ll very rarely eat at the restaurants available there, too many and having to reserve a day before is a hassle. The staff overall was amazing, especially the bartenders!!! Such charisma and exceptional service from all. One character stood out, a manager or something at a restaurant was kinda rude to us. I believe to keep things in order, but his snide remarks were unnecessary.

The hotel is nice… but unfortunately the food sucked. You have to reserve times to most of the restaurants and it is super hard too. Then your stuck only eating at the buffet. No eating at the pool, and one of the times there was blood stain on our sheets. Overall it’s a 3 star in my book.

I would suggest the hotel management needs to work on improving the food situation at the resort. The variety of the buffet is somewhat limited and very repetitive even at dinner times. The theme restaurants cousins is an average or below especially Grill steakhouse. To be honest the stations serving raw fish dishes at the buffet is not simply safe. Both my family members has food poisoning after eating those.
