Good stay - great people - no nice restaurants
We had a good stay. I will say that it was disappointing that there were no nice restaurants. For a property this size it was incredibly surprising that there was no place to eat dinner that served other than hamburgers and fast food types of cuisine. The property is absolutely beautiful And the people that work there are nice and helpful. I wish I had known before we went that there would be a push, although not a huge one, to purchase a timeshare there. We were actually afraid to meet with the concierge, because it was clear that she was really a sales person for their timeshare business. That said, it was a delightful stay and there are wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The valet’s were incredibly helpful.

Very good - stay away from building 1300
hotel is as it is described, fairly new in feel. We booked two rooms that were adjoining and it was plenty of room for five people. The kitchen is well stocked and has a large refrigerator. Service was very good, although I think they need another person or two at each pool as the cycle times seemed long in the chair service. It was not too difficult to get a chair. Unlike many other resorts I have stayed at, which was nice. Both pool areas were large. All the food we had was good or very good, although somewhat expensive, but maybe what you should expect in Cancun. Property is located across the street from a large mall with multiple outdoor restaurants. The only negative is the room they put us in. We booked an ocean view and I would say at best it would be called a partial view on the third floor, there were enormous trees, blocking 3/4 of the ocean view. What was worse is that we were directly next to the hotel next-door and their three very large, enormous rooftop air conditioners that were extremely loud and running 24 hours a day. We simply could not go on the balcony because we could not hear each other talk. The building we were in is 1300 and you should avoid at all costs. It is the worst location of all. I was disappointed because as a VIP member of Hotels.com, I expect that they would put us in a better location. They said they could not do anything to change the room.

Overall HIGHLY recommended, we'll definitely come back Highlights: - Lovely staff, super nice and helpful, all English speaking - BEAUTIFUL beach that's groomed every morning, essentially private with plenty of chairs/cabanas and real lifeguards - Very clean premises, pool and grounds were immaculate, better than the pictures - On site: small grocery/sundries store, kid's play center, 2 restaurants bar - Overall felt very kid/family friendly - Conveniently can charge everything to the room, including drinks by the pool - Gated property so very secure, tons of staff everywhere makes you feel safe - We got the villa which included a full kitchen, sofa bed, washer/dryer, and a balcony with a beautiful view - Fast internet (you can watch Youtube and Netflix) in the room and all around the premises - Across the street from La Isla shopping center so we were near a decent amount of restaurants, shops, and some attractions Lowlights: - They pushed their "owners" program (timeshare) pretty hard, but in return you can get a decent credit on your stay if you sign up for a 90m session (both adults required). This may be a plus for some who want to save money with no obligation. They were generally nice about it but we declined 3 times in total during our stay. - We arrived Sunday 5:30pm but our room wasn't ready till 6:45pm - The tap water is drinkable but a little mineral-ey/salty; we bought water from the shop downstairs

This property is as gorgeous as it looks! Staff were friendly and happy to help with any request. The pools were large and beautiful and lots of deck chairs to soak up the rays or sit in the shade. If so inclined, take the noon water aerobics class with Javier and Paty, you get a great workout for included in your stay!
