Find out more about Elements Shopping Mall

Elements Hotels

With its glowing, orange sign and its airy, artistic interior, this huge shopping mall in the centre of Kowloon will help to rebalance your energies. It’s based on the concept of the 5 elements, earth, wood, fire, water, and metal, with each of them represented in the art installations which are focal points around the mall, as well as in the architecture of the building. From high-end designers to organic supermarkets, there will be something in Elements to take your fancy.

Things to see

Kowloon is Hong Kong’s busiest, most culturally-rich area, and it is a fascinating place to explore, but when it gets too chaotic, Elements provides the perfect respite. You can still shop till you drop, but its light, air-conditioned atmosphere will allow you to do so in a relaxed and leisurely manner. While you’re there, it’s worth taking a trip up the connecting International Commerce Centre, the country’s tallest building. Whizzing up to the 100th floor may not be for those who are scared of heights, but the views of Victoria Harbour from this vantage point will take your breath away. Come in the evening for a glittering vision of the city. When you want a taste of authentic Kowloon, head to the Ladies’ Market in Yau Ma Tei. Women’s fashion may be the focal point of this thronging market, but you can haggle over everything from tech gadgets to homewares.

There are superb luxury hotels between Elements and the harbour, where you can enjoy the Hong Kong high life. South of Elements, the Tsim Sha Tsui district is bursting with every type of hotel, from modest guesthouse, to towering skyscraper. You’ll have fantastic harbour views, and be minutes from the mall.
