"Our stay at the Splendid Hotel was incredible, thanks to the staff and the absolutely delicious breakfast each morning. Lily taught us some Vietnamese phrases that we have used. The local restaurant recommendations were phenomenal and led us to some of the best food of our trip. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for amazing food and truly personalized hospitality!"
"The staff were amazing. They were all friendly and helpful and got out of their way to make sure that we had a warm welcome and a pleasant stay. Very good breakfast that varied a little from one the day to the next making sure that it would not become boring. The staff in the breakfast room were very helpful and informative about the ingredients in each dish to help us with our dietary restrictions. The spa and the treatments were also good but maybe sound proofing the treatment rooms could improve the experience. This is a very minor issue though. Overall10/10. "
"The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the location in the old quarter was good. However, the standard of cleanliness was not what I expected. There was excess mould in the shower, the gurgling sound in the shower drain sounded wrong, the sink didn't look as clean as I would expect, the elevator could use a thorough cleaning, etc. A good cleaning and I would have rated it higher."
