7/10 overall, the service in the buffets has to be improved! the waiters are not on the lookout, you ask them for something and they forget and you have to ask them several times! They need more stores, they only have one! especially if you can't leave the resort, they need more entertainment, more variety! after 5 there is nothing to do! We stayed 5 nights and they only made the bed and did not change the sheets and the room only threw garbage, they did not organize it!

Although the resort was beautiful, we were very disappointed in availability of food choices during the day and quality of food in the evening. The pool bar menu always arrived cold. The dinner reservations for the other restaurants were always very late after 730 and we were not able to make them any earlier, they didn’t have a Mexican restaurant which was disappointing; tamales and tacos, rice and beans would have been great for lunch! We felt like they were trying to do something too Americanized. The food at the all day buffet was always cold in the morning because they didn’t turn the heat chafers on early enough and if you went later in the day, the food had been sitting out for hours and hours without being replenished. Location is far from a city of you enjoy bartering for souvenirs, shopping, etc. We felt almost stranded- we did book a great 1/2 day trip to Tulum while on site at the resort! Great place to take your kids! JC at the pool shoes you authentic hospitality!!! Pools and cabanas are great! Evening turn down service is a plus! Although inclusive, we still felt pressure to tip every drink and meal service. We’ll go back to an adults only in Playa next time.

We stayed for a week and it was incredible! The kids loved the pools and beach, and we loved the activities for them all day! Restaurants on site were good. We ventured out to Playa del Carmen and Isla Mujeres on our own and the concierge was happy to explain the local taxi service and call to get us a car each day. Not walkable to any other sites.

my honest review
All the staff are very friendly, always doing everything possible to make us comfortable. The food at La Pergola is very complete and tasty. The Mexican restaurant and the Rodeo Grill were spectacular. The Italian restaurant, on the other hand, left much to be desired with its food. The magic show was of very good quality. The children's pool is super complete and my son loved it, however several points (animals that shoot water) did not work, but in general great. The rooms are luxurious, very nice, I felt that the pillow was a little high for me but nothing serious. The massages were spectacular, and the hydromassage too, if I noticed a little lack of love in the part of the painting in the jacuzzi area, everything else is ok. If you have a child it is an excellent place since they have multiple activities for them, from a jumping area, playgrounds to the pool. My only problem was regarding the taxi service they called, which was probably my worst experience in Cancun, they are simple criminals looking for a way to scam tourists, this is not only that company, its all the taxis. We had agreed on a price of $200. At the end of the tour and leaving us back at the hotel, he told us that it was $400. other taxis began to arrive to exert pressure and intimidation on us. Today reading the stories of many visitors, all have the same experience. So please, never take a taxi in quintana roo, use private transfers or uber. My recommendation regarding the hotel is fabulous

This is an excellent property with friendly and welcoming staffing (special shout out to JC, the pool concierge). The environment is very clean and pristine. Decent food. BEAUTIFUL scenery. 10/10. Wills definitely come back if I’m in Mexico again!
