Comfy room but serious lack in service
Room - Huge and clean. We had complimentary mini bar to be replenished daily Service - this is when everything went downhill. (1) We extended our trip so i made 2 separate bookings on a continuous dates. We informed the hotel way beforehand (via Hotels.com & official website) because we wanted to avoid the hassle of changing rooms: no reply. Worried, we headed down to the London hotel days before check-in to convey the msg only to have the recep brushed us off with a “you may inform the recep again when you check-in” without any apology. (2) Our room was not cleaned so we called recep to request for new towels. The recep told us to “call housekeeping instead”. For an established hotel, you mean the recep is unable to link us to housekeeping dept? The customer needs to put down the phone and call another number instead? After i did so, towels took a good 30mins to arrive. (3)Our mini bar was not replenished. Called recep who told us “we don’t replenish, if you want you can call Room Service to request”. I was appalled by the reply (sticker on fridge states otherwise). I told her for the past x days, my fridge was replenished daily so her reply was confusing me. As usual, i was told to call Room Service dept (by myself) and it took 30mins for the drinks to arrive. (4) We were expecting an important parcel to arrive during our stay but most of the staff at Concierge appeared lost when queried. However, we would like to compliment Mark, who tried his best to reassure us.

Our stay was excellent. The check in staff were extra sweet and friendly. The family room was good sized, bigger than the rooms in other hotels in UK and Europe. The room wasn't very clean and the bathroom was too tight. But overall, our stay was good. The things I mentioned are things that you can cope up with. Nothing major. The conceirge were extremely helpful and very sweet and hardworking. Of course the location is the best ever. This wasn't my first stay at the hotel, and will definitely not be my last. Thank you.

I liked the hotel and its great location , the staff was friendly but I didn’t like the elevators .. it has a little elevators which was crowded with people and there is a sound need to be maintenance
