Needs improvement
Despite paying for a king room, the window did not close properly. This meant it was not only freezing all night, but that a fire alarm that was going off in a nearby building kept me awake for most of the evening.

Times Square in our room
Breakfast was very good. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive.
The bathroom has a rusty chip on the bathtub. The bathtub floor is stained black and dirty. There are signs of water damage in the bathroom ceiling. Bathroom sink clogged.
Turned on the shower in the morning, ran water for 10 mins. Could only get scalding hot or freezing cold. Called front desk, they said to call back later when the engineer was available. I insisted and the friendly manager came to adjust the water temperature.
The bed was lumpy. The square view was more like we were on display, almost at street level.
We asked for another room they said they were booked up.

Excellent location and hotel
Great hotel, excellent location. Super comfortable room and bed. It’s a little dated and it could use some updates, but overall I do recommend it. Staff was great, very friendly and attentive.

Great location, poor hotel
Admittedly I booked a standard room, but it was very jaded and outdated. The air conditioning barely worked meaning the room was extremely cold. There was only a very light and flimsy duvet so I endured a poor night’s sleep.
On the plus side the staff were generally good and the breakfast was very good too.
It was noticeable on checkout that I wasn’t asked if I had a good experience (normally the first question asked) so I am tempted to think that maybe my experience is not uncommon there.

Solid 4 star hotel
Clean and comfortable but no door service which is a shame as they have a heavy door which is awkward to manage with a suitcase. The pump for the showergel is also annoying to use.

Short break in london
I never really do reviews but this wasn’t a very good experience at all
We always stay in the raddison blu
Leicester Square when visiting London
I booked a slightly upgraded room and requested a view of Leicester Square which I know is just a request.
Upon check in I was told that there had been a flood and that there wasn’t a room available for us
We were being moved to a hotel in Covent Garden . If I’d have wanted to stay in Covent garden then I would have booked a hotel in Covent Garden
I don’t believe that there was any such flood as the gentleman checking us in told me that the hotel was over booked.
We like to stay in Leicester Square as it’s not far from all the activities we had planned
We had booked sheesh and j sheeky both a short walk away
We like to end our evenings in the hippodrome casino again a short walk
We shop in bond street and fortnum
and mason , it’s not far to carry our shopping back , this would be impossible staying at Covent Garden which has the worst tube station in the whole of London
When I explained this to the receptionist he told me he had one room but that it was a twin room
We reluctantly accepted it
It was probably the worst hotel room I’ve ever stayed in
I reminded me of a dungeon and the bed was rock hard
Horrible room
We were offered 2 free drinks in the hotel bar
I really didn’t feel like a valued returning guest at all
