I’ve stayed here many times due to the convenience of the location. The hotel is nice in the common areas, but very dated in the condition of the rooms. Being a Marriot, you still expect certain standards with conditions and service. However this stay was by far the worse and will likely be my last. I was in for a 4 night stay this time. The first night, my room's AC unit was not working, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly, 2 very essential needs for a comfortable stay. I had already unpacked upon my arrival, so I asked that they check it out and fix it. They were very polite and I went about my day, when I returned that night, the problems had not been fixed. This continued to happen for the next 3 days with no resolution. As I was only coming back for the hotel at night, by the time I realized that the issue was still not resolved, It was too late and inconvenient to ask to be moved (which they should’ve proactively offered up on my 2nd request on day 2). On my 3rd request, they offered to send maintenance to the room with me, I walked with the maintenance technician and showed him exactly how the AC was blowing warm air, and the toilet handle did not work properly causing me to have to flush 3-4 times at a time before everything flushed down properly. The most disappointing part is although everyone is nice enough, not a single employee proactively tried to actually resolve the issue or offer any kind of compensation, or even just a sincere apology for the mishaps.
