It's uniquely different to Central. Lots of shops and restaurants if that's your sort of thing. We also really enjoyed a walk around the park and along the avenue of the stars. It's not very far from central and public transport is super cheap!

We liked staying in Kowloon, just off the bustling Nathan Road, and very close to Kowloon Park. Easy walk to Temple Street night market, 5 mins walkto the TST MTR station, and about 20mins to the waterfront with its excellent very cheap ($5)ferry.

This is the most densely populated place in the world, with a crazy nightlife, unique and interesting. Amazing food all around, great dimsum and bakeries, easy access to massage and various heritage sites. Definitely a busy urban environment.

It is a mixture of old and new with the latest trend and designer label shop plus just a street back, wet markets and wonderful reminders of the "real people" of Hong Kong with all sorts of manufacturing and activities to see. We love it..

Lots of large shopping malls connected to MTR exit, train station to China is in Kowloon, easy access to markets, cheaper costs for dining in many areas of Kowloon as compared to Central and Causeway Bay on Hong Kong island.

It was easy to go from Kowloon to Hong Kong Island on the MTR. Kowloon was less crowded on the streets and had really nice restaurants and shopping.

Lively neighborhood with great food at low cost. Easy to walk &/or take excellent mass transit anywhere. However, pedestrian traffic is a mess.

"The location is extremely convenient and very close to Kowloon Station for airport express and high speed rails to China. There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, it's close to Victoria Harbour and Temple Street."
"The Royal Plaza Hotel was fantastic. The rooms were super clean. The staff were gracious and the location was perfect. The Hotel is connected to an amazing shopping mall as well as the subway. This made shopping and transport super easy. The outdoor pool was refreshing and the gym kept us fit. Don't look any further! "
"The property is clean and in a good central area for shopping and overall transportation. There’s also a lot of food options all within walking distance."
"We recently stayed at The Langham, Hong Kong, and were thoroughly impressed by both the exceptional service and the unbeatable location.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Every team member we encountered — from the front desk to the concierge to the housekeeping staff — was professional, warm, and eager to assist. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality set the tone for an enjoyable stay.
The hotel's location is another standout feature. Situated right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, The Langham is just steps away from Harbour City, luxury boutiques, the Star Ferry, and the beautiful Victoria Harbour promenade. It’s incredibly convenient whether you’re in Hong Kong for shopping, dining, sightseeing, or business. The location is reasonably close to the TST MTR station and easily accessible via the underground pedway system.
The pool on the 15th floor was also a welcome relief for the hot, humid summer days.
Overall, The Langham combines classic elegance with impeccable service and a prime location. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in Hong Kong, and would consider staying here again next time in Hong Kong."
