An ok stay
The clerk at the check-in desk misscharged me for the pre-authorization charge on my credit card. They called when I was already resting in the room, to correct the credit card charge. Hotel is old, and you can still smell people smoking in the other rooms, even on the non-smoking floor.

Room was clean and serviced well after the first of 2 nights. Usual coffee, tea provided and topped up when we asked. Room fairly tight, but perfectly usable for a short visit. Of particular convenience was that the airport public bus (A21) has a stop 20 metres from the front door when arriving and 100 metres when heading to the airport. Also the bus to Stanley market (873). Which makes a nice half or full day trip. A pleasant young man on staff was there in the morning to show us all the interesting things to see with best method of transport. And the price of the room was relatively cheap. Please tip him, I forgot to.

location was great, airport bus stops in front of it but hotel really dated, smells like smoke and dirty carpet. bathroom is old too. elevator is old furniture is old. bestwestern i hope you renovate soon because this is a good located hotel and branded
