At HK$400 (approx. US$51) per night, the standard twin room appealed to me as a real bargain, considering that it is a new hotel under a large, Regal hotel group. It lived up to my expectation.
The marble tile floor makes it easy to keep the room clean and the room was very clean.
The bathroom and the toilet were separate so it would be convenient for a couple. It did not make a difference to me though as I stayed solo this time.
This was supposed to be a twin room. But the beds were pushed together for me to appear as a queen bed. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the management.
Breakfast was included in the room. I was most surprised as the room rate was already so low. I realized how this was possible when I actually went down to take a look. There were just plain bread and croissant, and packaged soft drinks. I went outside for breakfast everyday. Similarly, I went outside for all the meals as there was no restaurant in the hotel.
The biggest short-coming of my room was that there was no heater mode in the air-conditioner in the room. Outside temperature was 16 degree C the night I checked in. I was freezing. I called up front desk and a standalone heater was swiftly delivered to my room.
