A Little Slow
The service was a little slow – we had to call the lobby multiple times over a few hours to get someone to bring us extra linens and the evening reception line didn’t move at all in the 10 or so minutes we waited there before we gave up. Other than that everything was good, the room was ready about an hour before check-in

Not your typical Embassy.....beware.
Not your typical Embassy...yes, the location is awesome but the elevators take forever, rooms are tiny, they are short staffed, breakfast was packed and just an ok spread of food and they charge you $30/night for food/beverage that they will take off your bill if you do room service or order from the bar, plus lots of other hidden fees on the bill. Our shower had no water pressure and the toilet kept running. I upgraded to a "city" view and stared at an office building right out our window....no city view.

Embassy Suites
The hotel itself was fine. However, when we checked in, one of 2 rooms was not ready. It wasn’t ready for at least 2 hours after check in time so they switched one of our rooms to a different room. The new room had sheets with blood on the pullout couch. Neither room had blankets or pillows for the pullout couch and I had to ask 3 times in several hours before receiving them. The rooms do not have a hair dryer. I had to ask 3 times for that as well. We did not have cable the entire 3 day stay; the hotel staff blamed the provider. It finally worked the morning we were leaving. The hot breakfast was great, but the room to eat in is so small there was never enough table space for people to sit and eat. The food in the restaurant was really good. The bar was also sold out of many things it had advertised on the boards. The staff was all very nice; jus t wish the service was better.

Paying mostly for the location
The hotel is disappointing for the location and price. When we first arrived the toilet wouldn’t flush, then our sink took forever to drain. Our shower door wouldn’t close and the TV said all channels were “out of service.” When we told the staff and manager upfront they said the “engineer” was working on it. We got the same response for 4 days straight, no apologies whatsoever nor sense of urgency from anyone. Normally the tv not working wouldn’t be a big deal with so much to do in a big city, but we got 2 days of ugly cold and rainy weather during our stay and had to stay in the hotel room with no tv to be able to watch. Very disappointing. Only thing we did appreciate were the complimentary breakfast and reception drinks.
