10/10 Exceptional

Everything went fine except we were told we could ask to get a to go breakfast since we left at 4 am. We were allowed access to peanut butter, jelly bread and cookies before we left.

Great location, street parking
The Guesthouse is right in the center, close to a lot of sight s. Walking to great Restaurants and shopping. Self checkout and in was great, room was clean, breakfast good. The only downside is that there was no dedicated parking space, there is free street parking, but we had to park two blocks away, because there were no spaces in front of the Guesthouse.

6/10 Good

This was the worst of the 4 hotel we used in Iceland. There isn’t much parking but we did find a free space on the road. We were given a room in nearby Guesthouse Andrea and it was thankfully very warm. The room was simplistic and the bathroom made it feel like Uni accommodation. Breakfast was adequate but the extension it was in was cold.

Aurora review
It is a cool place. Style of the rooms are kinda simplistic ,near church, everything is close. The room was cozy and warm. Only thing that bothered me was that sheets were not clean.

The hotel is in a convenient location very close to downtown, Hallgrimskirkja, shops, restaurants, and the harbor. The price is affordable for its great location, clean rooms, and breakfast included. What I did not like however is that the staff can be hard to get ahold of at times. We could not find anyone to replace the liquid soap in the bathroom and went out to buy it ourselves at point. Overall, however, it was a good experience that was convenient, clean, and affordable!

6/10 Good

Rooms were clean and neat. Breakfast was a good spread. We arrived early morning and it was a bit awkward/confusing to pick up the keys and towels in one building and then walk over to our room which was in another building around the corner.

First and second floors are a bit noisy with the main HEAVY door that slams.
