Baba House Melaka
"Easy access to the market"
Puri Melaka
"Good breakfast. Room very clean. Hotel lobby is beautiful 👍👍👍"
The Nest House
"Love the design of this hotel"
The Pines Melaka
"Hotel and room was great at the price point, just unfortunate didn't manage to get any early check-in on the day of arrival. In fact, only got keys to room 15 mins after the standard check-in time. Apart from that, enjoyed the balcony in the room and the large bathtub too. Buffet Breakfast was great with a wide selection of food. Hotel is also located within walking distance with good food options. Oh, another thing. Love the pool, that actually comes with sea salt rather than the usual chlorine, which does more wonders for hair and skin than the chlorine would."
Courtyard by Marriott Melaka
"It is great experience to stay in Courtyard. Convenient and comfortable, great value of the money. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Will be back to stay when visiting."
Asteria Melaka by Attic Suite
"The room is really spacious but the shower system needs to improve."
Moty Hotel
"The rooms were large and comfortable. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the main attractions in Malacca."
Rosa Malacca
"Room was clean and neat. Staff attended to minor trouble shooting promptly. Unfortunately there was sewage stench from the toilet and probably a damage pipe from construction works on hotel extension."
Casa del Rio Melaka
"Staff and property on point. Gladly stay there anytime"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Malacca City
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Malacca City is during July, October, and November, when hotel rates are typically lower. For a budget-friendly getaway, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the city's historical landmarks, cultural attractions, and natural sites. During your visit, you can explore family-friendly activities, indulge in shopping and dining experiences, take a leisurely stroll along the river, and discover temples and historical sites. This way, you can enjoy great value for money while immersing yourself in the rich culture and festivities that Malacca City has to offer.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals for hotels in Malacca City, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window and Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don’t miss any saving opportunities. Additionally, you can utilise Smart Shopping through the app, a comparison tool that helps you evaluate hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see when prices drop or rooms become available for your spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Malacca City hotel. For those in search of a distinctive experience, boutique hotels might provide a more personalised touch and, at times, better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will indicate whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels in close proximity to the city centre usually command higher prices, but thanks to Malacca City's excellent public transport connections, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
