Great stay with the most friendly courteous staff I have met in a hotel. Great warm welcome at reception and great service from the staff at dinner and breakfast. Second time visit for an overnight stay in an area we used to live in. The standard rooms are large, clean, well furnished and have a big modern bathroom. Public rooms were all clean, well decorated and furnished. Didn't use Bistro but the breakfast choice was good and plentiful. Great location for touring the Dales.

One night stay room only which was very comfortable. Hotel is a grand old dame which is slightly tired in places but was very clean and with a warm welcome. The car park access should be better signposted when approaching from front of hotel. We did not experience the bistro nor bar.

The building itself is a beautiful building, however there was a slope in the floor of our bedroom we had frosted glass windows and the furniture is all very tired and needs a complete overhall. The cobwebs between the wardrobe and wall were unacceptable and the bathroom was clean but very old.
