Great hotel and location close to beach
Lovely hotel, reception friendly and let me store my luggage as I was early to check in, a short walk to beach. Nice cafe in hotel open to 11am. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants also around.
I couldn’t get the spa bath to work is the only small thing but didn’t impact my stay.

Disappointing, but well priced
Quite disappointing. I have stayed here twice before and it has deteriorated significantly over three years. The cafe advertised open until 11am but was mostly closed at 10 am. The reverse cycle air con was noisy and didn’t heat well in a freezing Melbourne winter. Extra blankets were dirty.

Good location, friendly staff
Friendly and helpful. Great location near beach and Luna park. We did not get our room cleaned during our stay, we hoped to get new towels. The cafe in the hotel was nice for breakfast.

Need a new elevator
Staff are friendly and helpful, area is good close to the beach, main attractions and public transport. The rooms themselves need a bit of love, a fresh coat of paint and shower needs a new head but the bed is comfortable and clean and secure.

Slightly noisy but well placed and comfortable
Friendly and inviting check in staff
Comfy pillows and bed
Plenty of restaurants, amenities and public transport in the area
Walls are very thin so you can hear neighbours coming and going quite loudly as well as showers/flushes and other noise from other rooms.
Had to keep the blinds closed most of the time as the windows overlook a courtyard so you can see into the hallway and other rooms
