Very pleasant and convenient place to stay and quiet at night as no traffic on the street outside (a pedestrian zone). The only thing I wasn’t keen on was my single bed which didn’t have bedsteads and as nit against a wall so the pillows kept falling on the floor

The hotel was a former pharmacy. We really enjoyed that they left the storefront in its original condition. It was like a little museum. Parking was an issue. Not convenient and very expensive. The breakfast options were basically non existent. The rooftop lounge was very nice

I got a great whatsapp with check in details as I was arriving Sunday, basically just doing a whatsapp check in. I found this okay but some older people may not like it that much. My room was really nice and gave me a great view of the parade of St. Fatima (even though I didn't know about it), my only regret was I didn't buy refreshments before as I couldn't go out for two hours because of the fantastic parade. This is a lovely guesthouse with a great host who is trying to operate the business in a more modern way, the only suggestions I would have are things that wouldn't be Portuguese, like a vending machine because no bar or a kettle and tea and coffee in the room not just the reception... So I won't suggest them. Muito Obrigado e Saude.

This is a beautiful and unique place. The location is amazing. They have done a fabulous job rebuilding this place - keeping the old and incorporating just enough new.
