Horrible service from Front desk AM shift woman.
The morning shif front desk woman was rude and unfriendly when we asked if we could ch in a little earlier (we arrived earlier with our small dog). We have done this in other hotels and usually the staff is very flexible, they try their best to accommodate guest Even thought los portales is a small hotel we could tell there were rooms already ready, so it was not an availability issue at the moment of our arrival. We were charged a slightly higher amount because of our pet and that was not the problem, it was the way she responded when I wanted just to clarify the cost for my benefit, SHE rudely pointed with her disgusting fingernail to a piece of cardboard that listed the prices according to the room booked This hotel doesn’t have heat so we requested two extra blankets aside from the two that were already in the room. She said she will send them immediately and she never diid. So I went to front desk to tell her they were not needed anymore. My family decided to wait for the Night Shift person instead. What a big difference because this gentleman brought them to our room immediately. When it was time for check out we were on our way to front desk to return the key, she was walking our way and she said to hand her the keys right there and then, we did. Not a “ Thank you, hope you enjoyed your stay” “We hope to see you again” Because of her we won’t be staying in our next trips in Los portales Hotel. Owners be aware of who you are hiring to represent your Hotel.
