Very good Onsen experience in Asakusa Tokyo
Very enjoyable authentic Ryokan/Onsen experience right in town. Just weren't accustomed to nickel & dime charges for extra trash pick up, daily room cleaning, etc. Location of hotel was fabulous. We would stay again.

True Ryokan
It has a natural mineral spring hot water onsen. Is amazing. The onsen is in the main hotel, not the annex. That can lead to a spot of confusion at check in.

The real Japan
This is the real deal… authentic Japanese experience from the second you walk in the door and the location could not have been better. Lots of perks and the onsen was exactly as I hoped it would be. Not easy for my disabled mom (putting shoe coverings on an amputee isn’t easy), but she loved it anyway and so did I

Fantastic! 10/10 will stay here again!
It was absolutely wonderful ! The location is incredible next to the temple. Tons of places to eat all around the neighborhood. Less intense than other tourist areas much more calm vibe in Asakusa. The hot springs and spa was what made us book there and it was totally worth it! My skin has never felt so soft. It was amazing after a long day of walking around touring Tokyo. From the website we thought there would be a communal area but it’s completely gender segregated must have been a translation error (tho makes sense). Nevertheless, it was so relaxing and a hi light of each day. I didn’t do breakfast included but I did eat one morning and it was wonderful. My only complaint at all is the pillow on the bed was very flat. We will definitely be staying. Here next time in Tokyo!

A vacation from your vacation
This is our mind, body and soul recovery space during wonderful and exhausting vacations. In Japan walking 18,000 steps per day is common. We've stayed in a Onyado Nono hotel in Nara so coming here was a no-brainer.
The convenience of checking availability of washer/dryer via room TV simplifies life. Onsen facility is soothing, followed by snacks! And we enjoyed late night ramen more than expected.

Great location, great breakfast
The area of Tokyo, Asakusa, is probably one of the best areas to be in in Tokyo. There is the Sensoji shrine and the surrounding streets with small shops and restaurants. This is not Ginza, these are smaller stores and restaurants which we loved. The hotel rooms are small but the breakfast is huge! And there is a hot spring ohsen in the hotel which we used. All in all, though this was not the fanciest hotel I’ve stayed at, with the location and the great breakfast, I give it 5 stars.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It is very quiet in the room, but in a lively pedestrian area. The natural hot springs are really nice. Get the breakfast - it was great. One note - sleep late as the shops don’t open until 10am.

A bit of walk from the stations especially from the Toei Asakusa. A few mints walk to Sensoji and there are many places to eat and shop around. The property has traditional tatami mats all around and it’s a nice feel. The bath was large and I enjoyed the individual tub. It was very relaxing. The breakfast was tasty and many varieties. Over all I enjoyed the stay.

LOVED this hotel. I was teary eyed when checking out. The staff and service was A . It's very close to points of interest, shopping areas and train. A block away from Senso Ji temple, which you have to experience early in the morning before the crowd of tourists. As everyone else noted, you must take off your shoes upon entering and wipe your luggage wheels on the provided mat. Enjoy the house clothes, socks, slippers, toiletries and of course the onsite onsen. Breakfast options are unique and delicious. Ramen at night. FYI noone with tattoos allowed in the onsen (any onsen in Tokyo) but there is just one semi-close that does.

I loved that it was right in the centre of Asakusa and while not a Ryoukan, was very close in terms of traditional feel, an Onsen and even the hotel was entirely in Tatami which was beautiful.

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. They spoke English well which was very helpful. They used translation to help where needed. The room was bigger than we expected and we had lovely views of the Tokyo skytree tower. The tatami mat flooring was just beautiful underfoot. The hotel was centrally located in walking distance to all you could need. My only quibble was that the bed wasn't super comfy (it was ok), the worst thing being the pillows which were very flat and solid. I wish they had provided an extra soft pillow in the room. That said we would not hesitate to stay there again as all the pros massively outweighed this small con.
