4/10 Fair

Very inconvenient although usually quite good
After we checked in they gave us a room with very strong afternoon sun even though hotel was quite empty. Then we moved to another room which was lacking of amenity like bath salt, nail polish remover etc especially there were only 2 bath towels for us. When I stayed alone in Sep 22, I was given 3 bath towels. There was still NO SHUTTLE SERVICE to Shinjuku station from hotel. There were no Limousine bus services till 09:25. So we had to book a taxi to take us to Shinjuku st but couldn’t book a taxi at all. We had to get up earlier to look for taxi on the very morning when we were heading to the airport.

6/10 Good

Not really worth it
The hotel is quite a distance from Shinjuku station. Quite old and in my opinion not worth the sgd$250 per night. Many better hotels out there.

Nice stay
Amenities were few and it was quite a distance to walk to main Shinjuku area. However, the friendliness of the staff made up for the shortfall. The walk can be taken as an exercise or if you must, take another train from Shinjuku itself.

Comfortable simple room
Direct Narita Airport bus to Hotel to Narita Airport at ¥3,200 per trip. Simple big room, window view can see Sunrise & set, small view on Mount Fuji. Tunnel walking to Shinjuku about 1km. Subway below hotel.

6/10 Good

Not Up to Japanese Standards
Location was not convenient. They are technically in Shinjuko but actually in an area of office buildings at the northern edge. Bathroom was inferior compared to other Japanese hotels. For example, old shower curtain instead of glass enclosure, old toilet plumbing that leaked and had to be repaired.

great location, convenient store on basement level along with many restaurants as well. Huge bonus that the airport bus (limousine bus) drops off/picks up at the hyatt as well.
