Would stay here again!
The hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable, and on a perfect location. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative was the television only showed channels with infomercials and religious programming. We were told it would be replaced, but it never was, so for 3 nights we got no news, no weather, and no collegiate volleyball!

I would stay again!
I couldn't believe my luck with location, it really was very central and I had a small view of Central Park from my window. Travelling from JFK was simple taking the E train to 7th/53st - only downside is that the station is not accessible for suitcases. It's then a short walk to the hotel - with 7th/57th station almost outside with direct subway to Times Square, Coney Island. Times Square is about a ten minute walk with lots of eateries along the way. The room was very clean, and the bed/bedding so comfortable. Would have liked a bit more lighting in the room. The bathroom was good, albeit a bit tired, but did what it is meant to do - provide a place to keep clean - would have preferred decent size bath towels though. I rarely needed to interact with front of house/services so can't really comment. I also didn't eat there. Room was freshly updated each day - took a few days for water cups to appear in the room - they must have noticed the water bottles that I was putting in the recycling bins in the room. In the corridor on my floor (10th) there was a torn off bit off bit from a black plastic bag - it was there for several days along with a glass outside a room door. After a few days I touched it with my foot beginning to think it was attached to carpet - I can't believe that these were being missed by housekeeping and the floor manager. The room is a good decent size with plenty of space to move around. I would happily stay there again.

Service was excellent except during 4pm checking only 1 person at counter where 4 stations were available. The pipes made loud noise every time the water was turned on. The hotel was very clean and bed was super comfy. Lounge was super nice.Location simply cannot be beat. The extra 40$ “resort fee “ was ridiculous. Nevertheless I would stay again.

Perfect location
The location was perfect, very conveniently located, walking distance to Rockerfeller, Central Park, Times Square, and midtown. Transit links on the doorstep to get elsewhere in the city. Staff were very helpful and polite. Things like kettles were only provided when we asked for them, but we were delivered to our room when we asked. Room was larger than expected which was a nice surprise for central New York. I would absolutely stay again. BE AWARE you will be charged a $500 deposit on arrival which I was not aware of when I arrived. This was not charged to me in the end as I left the room clean and tidy, but just something to be aware of so you don’t get the same shock I did!

Hotel was clean and roomy for two. I loved the bench seat. There was definite signs that the hotel was aged. The mattresses were very comfy. We had issues with the front desk staff when we checked in, they were somewhat rude and uncaring. We were close to a great diner and a Starbucks to pluses. Close to Carnegie hall and Central Park.
