Bondi Beach
Arguably Australia’s most famous and most visited beach, the golden strip of sand at Bondi is a busy yet memorable landmark of Sydney. Famous for its beautiful women, large crowds, great surf, and close proximity to the CBD, Bondi Beach provides the perfect day out for couples, individuals, and families. The beach is lined with an incredible array of shops, restaurants, and cafés, so visitors never have to stray far from the surf to refuel.

Circular Quay
The site of Australia’s first British settlement over 220 years ago, Circular Quay is now one of the busiest ferry docks in the country. It is the main hub for Sydney Harbour and Parramatta River ferries, and is considered to be the centre of the city’s tourism. A large train station rests at Circular Quay, while Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Rocks, Pitt Street, the Royal Botanical Gardens, and the Sydney Opera House are all within walking distance. Plenty of convenient hotels reside near Circular Quay, including the historic Holiday Inn Old Sydney the Rocks.

Kings Cross
Regarded as Sydney’s red-light district, Kings Cross is found adjacent to Woolloomooloo and Potts Point in downtown Sydney. Ferries provide great travel options across Sydney Harbour and along the Parramatta River, while trains radiate from the inner-city underground network to outer suburbs. The Sydney Bus system connects travellers to spots that trains and ferries fail to access, including major locations like Bondi and the Northern Beaches. The downtown area of Sydney is served by a light rail service which provides a looping route just outside central Sydney.
