What did we like?
We were staying at the Ocean View Junior Suite. The best thing about the suite was of being spacious, clean and artistic. It can accommodate an extra bed easily. All beds, including the extra bed, were comfortable too. The bathroom has a double vanity with separated toilet and shower. The bathtub was facing the ocean. The shower had three options: fixed rain shower, shower head with hose and side shower heads. The toilet was automatic with heated seat and bidet. The pool was also facing the ocean.
The food at Apurva was also amazing - we tried the breakfast buffet, in-room dining and afternoon tea. They all had great taste and options. Unfortunately we weren’t able to try the famous aquarium dining because it was fully booked.
We we didn’t like?
The bathtub was too shallow and the edge is too sharp - it’s a safety hazard. You need to be extra careful when using it.
We asked for a non-smoking area, but our suite was next to their smoking area near the lobby. We had to close our doors often to avoid the smoke penetrating to the room.
The entire atmosphere was a bit gloomy and scary because of the dark tone. They could’ve added more lightnings to help make it more comfortable.
We had to wait for our room, even after the 3 pm check in time. But, we could wait in their lounge offering free coffee and tea.
