the problem I faced was the poor internet connection. As a business traveler internet connectivity is very important beside the cleanliness of the room.

Very value for money! Kanto freestyle breakfast was jus behind the place. A safer area to be at. Rooms nearer to the main road side will be a little more noisy.

Great hostel environment in Manila
The Barakada/Quadruple Room with Private Bathroom made good utilization of the space and great for family bonding. The hotel is new and what you want to expect for a newly built hotel are in place - new towels, bedsheets are top quality. I just worry that the shower curtain which is made of plastic material gets replace regularly. The activity of the hostel is fun. The floor to ceiling window in the area gives you a feel that you are in a high-end hotel. Eating places are everywhere in the area although they have a newly opened resto on the top floor neatly overlooking the city (good view of Makati). The resto which only has limited menu (mostly all-day breakfast menu), has good interiors, the staffs are very friendly and gave me tips what to do in Makati. We ate our dinner there and the food was good but the serving was small and bit pricey for the portion given. Over-all, you can see that most reviews for this hotel is high and I agree with that. I have already booked my next stay in the week of Christmas to bond with my parents. Final comment, I just noticed that some of the guys at the reception does not smile and unfriendly warning me that if I lost the key card I have to pay P250. I hope to see more great hostels in the Philippines.

Value for Money
Clean and value for money. Will be back again.

Quality of interior materials used in the rooms and the bathrooms. The wide enough stairs in going up the upper deck.

Very good 8.0
Cleanliness of room and accomodation floors are great, however level 2 reception floor is looking very tired and worn out It wouldn’t be a bad idea to steam clean the fabric seats and repair the floor power outlets. The pool table for example should have been replaced a few years ago. It’s a real shame as the staff are very good and the actual room areas are presented well.

Really uncomfortable bed. Rooftop bar food horrible and bad service
Grace, ph2 night business trip

Well designed, fun hotel. Great reception area and rooftop bar. Very noisy rooms if you stay on the main road side and we were on the 5th floor. Also quite noisy corridors as the place is full of treny youngsters coming in and out and not always quietly.

Very cozy and doesn't feel like a hostel. It feels like a hotel indeed.
