My recent experience was not good. My room air conditioning was not functioning and maintained in 27 degrees throughout the night. Then due to the thin walls, I could hear the guest staying beside my room talking to each other in the middle of the night and early hours in the morning. It was very annoying yet there isn't much the hotel can do because of it is a structure issue. The WiFi was also unstable and kept turning off with no signal.
Overall stay experience was bad. Booked a smart luxe room but was given a mini double room. When confronted, staff did not apologise for the error made. Only when I asked for refund did staff change to the correct type of room. Mind you, there is no table or chair even in this type of room, and these can be brought in (make-shift and foldable type, so totally uncomfortable) only upon request. No closed wardrobe either; just 3 hangars at the back of the connecting room door. Sound-proofing is so bad that a person speaking in the next room, always a connecting room kind, can be heard. The person staying next door happened to be a crazy PRC woman, who came back after 1am, and started talking into her mobile non-stop for an hour without signs of stopping. She only stopped after I called Security. She continued talking, though not so loudly after that for another 30min, which was way past 3am, and left the TV on till morning. Had to bear with her for 2 nights with the same routine! Door lock had problems and I was literally locked inside the room, unable to open the door and had to call houesekeeping to let me out. Lock was NOT fixed as promised the following day. Only good thing with this hotel is the location and the Dean and Deluca at the lobby. If you cannot stand noise or needs a quiet night of rest, this is definitely not the place to stay, no matter how attractive the room rates are.
flies in room. too many hair on ths floor. room extremely small.
Everything was fantastic from the service staff to the condition of the room. The few negatives that I encountered was the shower water heater was not working and the wifi was very unstable. Other than that, this hotel is certainly very good value for money.
The Mini Suites is very convenient. It is very close to most places in Makati as well as the food establishments. It's a short walk from Greenbelt as well as the office spaces.
The property is very clean, comfortable and quiet and decent. It may not be so grand and big but with the price and condition and location, it’s all worth it! I have booked it again for my next travel to Philippines this June.
Generally ok for the price you paid but the bath towels and bed linens have stain marks on some occasions. Would have been better if the hotel provides box tissue. Wall is not concrete on either one or both sides so it is not entirely soundproof.
Value for money for budget travellers. Wall is not soundproof as it is not made of concrete. Considerate neighbours is very important. Double room is a reasonable size for one guest but a couple might be a bit cramped. Walkable distance to shopping malls - about 15mins.
The hotel is well secured with friendly security guards around to offer assistance. The room is actually quite spacious and clean. What's missing is a working desk as I am a business traveler so need to work on laptops and it was quite inconvenient to do that on the bed. I am sure hotel can figure that out soon and provide it. Room is also missing tissue box. Sound proofing needs to be improved as I can hear people chatting next to my room.
Clean hotel, but the wall are thin, so you can hear what next door is doing. (watching tv, alarm clock alarm, etc)
