Location was not too good, the malls nearby were mostly abandoned. The nearest mall was a 10 min car ride away which is still not too bad. Overall a pleasant stay, I may recommend it to friends who might be keen on staying in Makati. :)

Simply outstanding!
It is indeed a nice property, with an amazing swimming pool and great ambiance in the hotel. The staff is super friendly, particularly I liked the service at the food place. The staff was aware of the type of food the guests could prefer according to their ethnicity and beliefs. The service of the staff was representative of the nice duty managers, who were visible doing regular inspections of the services. I would like to point out 'Badz', the guy who served me breakfast during my stay for his outstanding service, sincerity, and dedication towards his work, he was a great help to me. Thank you for making my stay memorable!

It felt a lot more crowded than previous visits and the rooms are starting to feel a little more dated for instance the bedsheets could do with upgrading. On the positive side the pool area is great and all the staff are very helpful and agreeable. It still offers good price /value

What is an onsen?
First the hotel didn't have record of my previous stay even though I was there barely a year ago. I was told we got a decent room then after that told us we only got a standard room after checking with her colleague. We didn't understand why she told us something that was not confirmed to raise our expectation only to have it deflated immediately. We found the answer when she tried to up-sell us and asked if we want a bigger room and breakfast. We said no to both. Secondly, the door to our room was malfunctioning and kept beeping as the connection was bad and we have to always recluse the door on many occasions which was annoying. Third the cleaner was told to remove the used towels repeatedly but refuse to do so. Worst is the spa receptionist who corrected me that it was an onsen not a jacuzzi. The two pools in there had jet functions that were working perfectly well when I last visited but now the controls have been removed from the walls. I assumed they might have centralized the control and asked if they could set the jacuzzi function on. She kept repeating this is an onsen not a jacuzzi, I told her many onsens have the jacuzzi function and asked what the spouts in the two pools were there for if it were meant only to contain water? and why were the switches removed form the walls? I explained I was in the hotel just last year and the jacuzzi functions were working properly in the two pools and she could just tell me it was being maintained but instead lectured me
