My stay
The air con in the room was not very good. Did not cool the room to expectations. Service in the restaurant was very average. We were not told of special course meal we could have ordered and instead spent nearly 2000 pesos for extremely small portions which required us to leave the hotel to find a proper meal. Apart from that the hotel was incredible especially the rooftop bar

6/10 Good

Embarrassed me!
Embarrassed me. I had 2 local friends that wanted to hang out for a few hours after a night of billiards, the front desk stopped me and my guests and wouldn’t allow them to come up. Once that was handled by showing ID and being interrogated they were gonna charge me per person to go up in a room I already paid for! I couldn’t believe it. I was embarrassed and my friends felt bad and didn’t want me to pay for them. I should have been told all this in private. Horrible. Night ended early and was ruined by poor front desk service.

10/10 Exceptional

Love the room, especially the bathroom - very roomy. Room service is reasonably priced, the morning buffet is very big, and also reasonably priced. Love their pool, the water is very clean and refreshing. The street is loud, but the higher up you go the quieter your room is. We went uptown the roof deck and had a great time up there. The hotel is located pretty central to the city and it is easy to get around. Make sure to download the Grab App for very reasonable car service, and for ordering in on those nights you want something different. Right next door is a Noodle shop that is very good. Also a food court full of local vendors, Karaoke, and live music. Skip the Thai food restaurant across the street, the food was not that good. Actually saw a couple good sized rats in the trees above the tables there. I will book here again. . .

2/10 Poor

Very Disappointed
I’ve been visiting the Philippines for the past decade and always stay in Makati when I’m in Manila. I’ve tried a number of hotels and always wanted to try the I’m Hotel. I finally got to stay there recently and I have to say it was a complete let down. The staff, especially the front desk, was not helpful nor friendly. With a typhoon approaching I had to cut my vacation short and they couldn’t even give me a refund on the three days I had left. AC turns off at night so it gets hot. Food also took forever, was overpriced and tasted horrible. The only positive thing is that the room I booked actually looked like the pictures online. Stay at the City Grand Central across the street instead of this place. The food, service and staff are a lot better and it’s a little cheaper too!
