A little bit disappointing.
Stayed in a Japanese style room with shared bathroom for 3 nights.
out of the 4 hotels I've been to in Japan with tatami and futon, this was by far the poorest, my back really hurt after my stay there.
the lack of present stuff in the property made the check-in process frustrating.
shared bathroom was clean all the time, location was very nice.

No check in or check out service, all done via qr code. For included breakfast, you have to 13 minutes to another hotel of the same chain. Not disability friendly, no lift and laundry is on the fifth floor (one machine only). Brown smears on the carpet in the corner of our room. Shower leaked water and lamps would flicker if you bumped the cord.

Worried that first, loved it in the end.
I would like to say that the place was horrible. Not because it actually was, but just so that no one else books there. I had major trepidation staying here at first. I'm used to western style rooms, I have never stayed at a Japanese style room. At first I wasn't a big fan of the shared restroom nor was I a big fan of the shared shower rooms. Don't let that hold you back however, the rooms are clean and tidy and spacious. The restroom is very clean and the shower is also very clean and there's plenty of privacy. People who are mindful of their neighbors will not have an issue staying here. I highly recommend it and I intend to save this establishment for future use.

Not so clean, but comfy and convenient
There was pee in the toilet and pee stains on the seat when I arrived (room with private bathroom). There were also some long hairs in the towels. Apart from that everything else seemed clean.
The self service amenities were good as I could take only what I needed, but there was no clothes freshening spray which you usually get in hotels.
The bed was comfy enough for a hotel, and the pillows were good. Not the weird beaded pillows you often get in hotels.
Check in/out was easy, but the hotel staff speaking through the speaker were giving contradictory instructions to what was written.
Location was convenient.
Front desk staff was not attentive or rather was not at the front desk when we returned to claim our luggage. We had to keep calling out for the staff for a good 5 mins before the staff came. Front desk was only available till 11pm, this gives the guests no assistance leaves the guests with no assistance aided when required. Tatami bed was too thin unlike our others where there were enough comfort. Limited shower facilities, there were only one shower room for male. Front door was supposed to be locked with password after 11pm, but was found unlocked upon return after 11pm. This leaves insecurities to the guests with no one at the lobby and the windows were visible to the public. Guests could be heard easily from the next room.

This hotel is right across the street from the train station that will take you to the airport in 45 min. Good for a quick stay. 10 min walk to Dotonbori. We had a room with a private bath and 2 twins. The room was a good size and had AC and good WiFi. The room can use a deep cleaning. A little dusty, bathroom had an old, stained shower curtain. Walls are thin. Beds are thin, but ok. It is just a basic, no frills, good location hotel in a good, safe location.

The hotel is very close to the train station from the airport, but we had to ask tourist information to find our way. Very clean and quiet (despite its location). Small but with all necessary amenities and supplies. A free cell phone is thoughtfully provided by the hotel during our stay. We used its map app for directions.

Great location as it is right next to Namba Nankai station, so getting to and from Kansai Airport on the Nankai line was easy. Right next to Namba City shopping mall and tons of eating places to be found around there as well.
The hotel has no elevator, so be prepared to lug your luggage up slightly steep stairs to your room.
Checked out early at 8am, but the reception was closed. Was not told regarding the reception times and the location of the room key drop box. Luckily managed to spot it and it was hidden near the staff entrance in a dark area.

Nice stay
I am have a 5 days stay in Osaka. The hotel location is great. Room size is small but for those just need to have 1 or 2 days stay it shouldn’t be any problem. I will be more enjoy if they can provide a microwave at public area. They have free luggage storage so we can do our last shopping at around Namba more comfortable. There is a phone we can freely use during our stay but its quite slow. We are still renting our own wifi modem as I am still hope to receive Whatsapp and share my photos.

Okay but not strongly recommended
There’s no elevator in the hotel. If you are carrying big luggage’s it’s not recommended to stay here. Room is small. On the other hand, location and hotel interior are good.

Clean and convenient
Staff is flexible to allow check-in at 11am for a day stay with check-out at 7pm. Booked one night to keep luggage and bath before night flight back, and was given a four floor room without lift.....
Overall, pretty clean and convenient for a boutique hotel. Just dislike the common bathroom beside lobby, meant for rooms without bath, inconvenient for ladies and esp. for family with young gals, when male come down with a robe.

Glorified Hostel
If you are looking for an inexpensive option right by Namba station and want a private room, this is a nice option (vs capsule or hostel). Rooms are clean, free WiFi but very small.
Bathrooms are communal; one per floor. Showers are also communal, on the ground floor. No elevator.
Wouldn't put this in the hotel category though.

Better than expected
I already read about the comments from visitors who have stayed at this hotel before making my booking, so it wasn't a surprise that there were no lifts and I knew I could ask the staff for help to carry my luggage upstairs and she was really helpful. We had our own bathroom, so it was convenient. Things were new and clean and the shower was strong though there was some smell in the public toilet and shower rooms. I haven't read about the history of the hotel. It looked like it was converted from a monument with a vibe that made me feel like I was staying at a castle though it wasn't designed like a castle. You'll find this hotel quite good indeed if you do not carry high expectations. No extra pillows would be provided if you find one not sufficient. The management style is similar to that of a European hostel. No staff could be found late at night until 9 o'clock in the morning. We left our room key at the reception when we checked out at 7 am.

Suffisant si on veut juste une chambre pour dormir. La salle de bain commune était vide, donc pas de soucis particulier. Le checkin sans personne physique n'est pas agréable.
