Exceptional 10.0
Excellent location, Japanese food and service
Location to shopping/food streets, train stations and local markets such as Kuromon are the major plus points. Room is nice, big and clean with company bed and view. We dined at Hana Goyomi Japanese Restuarant which was one of our best meals there. The food variety, quality, presentation and personable service left a deep impression. Connection to train station makes it easier for free and easy travellers like us to get around with luggage in tow. Looking forward to returning again.

Great stay!
The location of the hotel was fantastic. Bed was extremely comfortable with a pillow menu to choose from. Water pressure from the shower was good. Requests made through the front desk / concierge were promptly acted on. No complaints!

Very good 8.0
Very comfortable stay
The hotel is in a very convenient location which made finding it easy for a first timer to Osaka. The rooms were spacious for japan and very clean. I didn't eat at the hotel, however I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the gym and how well equipped it is.

Very good 8.0
Need improvement on cleanliness
Room cleanliness is not as expected, floor and furniture plus curtains were dusty

Fair 4.0
Bad service and not worth the price paid
I booked 4 rms - one room had to be changed last minute as the traveller was not well. when we checked in at this hotel, staff (Ms Sasaka) at the reception was unpleasant and told my colleague that she could not change her reservation as the booking was made through the Travel agent. When I said I was the one who booked through hotels.com and couldnt change the name as it was too last minute, she replied to me across two counters again in an irritated loud tone that this cannot be done as the booking is made through a Travel agent. I said we have just come from Tokyo and Nagoya and had no issues with the change, why cant this be done ? She replied again that this is a Travel agent booking and we will need to contact them. I was angry at this point and told her off as we had tried but couldn't do it on line as we had no problems at the other hotels so why create a fuss for us ? cause we are Chinese looking ? She does not amplify the polite and helpful Japanese manner and this is supposed to be an International hotel which is shameful to have such staff. Local Japanese hotels like Hankyu Int'l and Nikko Osaka have way better service than this hotel. I found a piece of plastic hook under my bedsheet, the beef rice that I ordered was not up to standard. the quality of beef used was bad-the local restaurants served a much better rice bowl. Breakfast at outlet - Caucasian Mgr was curt & there was an obvious lack of service staff as we had to ask numerous times for help
