Fabulous hotel. One of the smaller rooms we've had. But nicely situated just within a shopping mall. Great amenities with a large lounge area and dining space just off the laundry room. Only a short walk to the Gion district and even closer to train links.

Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo

The hotel is located nicely in the middle of a shopping area and not too far from 2 different subway lines. Only downside with the location is that a taxi cant really get right infront of the hotel but it's not a long walk (3 minutes) from the closest drop off location. Checking in and out is easy and quick with the self service desks and there is staff to help if you require assistance. Didnt have much interraction with the staff except for one at reception and the cleaning staff of the floor and all were very friendly. Only downside (for me) was how hard the bed was but that's a preference thing. With all that said unless the hotel prices itself out it will stay on my radar for when I come to Kyoto again (6 days is not enough!).

This was a really nicely run hotel. The breakfast was really good and the service was very friendly and efficient. The best thing about the hotel though is the very very central location, right in the heart of things.
