My mom and I stayed here during our time in Kyoto. This hotel exceeded our expectations! Check in was easy and we found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was a nice size for two as well as the bathroom. Loved the public bath a few floors down...very clean, spacious and relaxing! Was nice having this within the hotel instead of having to use one at another location. The breakfast buffet was also excellent! So much variety, both western and Japanese and the taste and quality of food was superb! I’m normally skeptical about buffets but everything from the food to the teas and drinks they offered was great. Would definitely recommend including in your package - no need to go out since you can literally try different dishes per day based on the selection. We found the hotel to be very quiet, and most importantly central to the Kyoto main station. Easy to get here from the airport limo or station exits. Very close walking distance to food, shopping and Kyoto tower. Would recommend staying here if you are looking for a hotel in Kyoto- the downtown area, temples, shrines , market are a bus , Subway or Uber ride away!
