The hotel is too far from Marrakesh for business
The first night was a nightmare since there was nobody in the hotel to receive us. After two trips of 18 kilometers (one way) from Marrakech to the hotel, we finally gave up and booked ourselves for the night in Marrakech. Two expensive telephone calls to Expedia offices in the USA did not help because they could not reach the hotel staff on telephone. In addition, we were threatened that we would loose all the money we paid for 2 rooms for 19 nights because of a non-refund policy. Luckily, the following day, we found a telephone number that was answered and they picked us up in town in the afternoon.
The hotel lacked front desk staff most of the days and internet in the rooms was not available for 15 out of the 18 nights I spent at the hotel. Except for these hitches, the overall experience was okay.
