Nice hotel near Menara Mall, the pool is quite lovely, and the staff at the front desk is so helpful and friendly (Aziz, Mustapha, and Youness). We spent the weekend here, and I'll 100% come back again :) - Ihsane
Lovely gardens and great location Pool was arctic and should have been heated
Stayed here for the Marrakech Marathon, was perfectly located for the start and the nearby mall. Staff very friendly. An earlier email to the hotel informed us that no kettle was in the room so we took our own. As per other reviews, the hotel is tired but more than made up for by the friendly staff. We arrived in the early hours to a clean room with one exception...there was an old finger nail behind the bathroom sink. Eww! Anyway, next day after cleaning, it had gone. A few other minor things - a socket was blown, the fridge wasn't working and neither was the room safe. But.. after 2 days the socket and fridge worked again. Restaurant - we stayed half board - sat night was hectic and we struggled to find a place to sit but staff rallied around and we were seated soon enough. No complaints about the food, there was pasta and spaghetti laid on in addition to several other choices. Breakfast was more than adequate. Pool area was quiet and a great sun trap for after the race to relax. Given the price paid, we thought the hotel was good for a long weekend.
We had Hotel Farah as our base 40 min walk from the Medina and close to Gueliz. Hotel is a little tiered looking. Hotel is more like a 3 stars. Beds very comfortable. Very clean. Nice garden & pool. Breakfast is poor Needs a rethink. We stayed @ the hotel in the winter bfast room was very cold bring an extra jumper. Staff is helpful.
Rooms need refurbishment but main hotel good. 3star would be a fair rating
The setting was good and the pool area and garden were very pleasant. Some service was excellent, some dreadful. After requesting a hair dryer (advertised as provided) it took four days to arrive. Every time we went to get pool towels they had run out and asked us to wait.
An ok property. You have to realize that it is a subject of wear and tear. However, what was lacking in property was made up by people who were polite, accommodating and helpful. I saw reviews from people complaining about food being the same, some say they were charged for coffee - this not true. Yes the food was the same but the choice was more than adequate. Day after day people would carry full plates and no one had to pay for anything. Yes, pool closes at 7, but you have to realize that it's getting dark after 7 and most enjoy the quietness, so this is not a real problem. This hotel offers great comfort in a quiet setting. Yes, periodically the wifi was poor, yet somehow I managed to survive without a facebook. C'mon people, get real and act like adults!
Staff at Reception don't seem interested in serving or helping me when I have questions.
The pool closed at 7pm. In the summer. Which seemed ridiculous. We arrived at 7pm and left early the next morning, so could not avail of it. The communal areas looked fine, but the room was tired and in need of renovation.
Alas it was the Ramadan period so I suppose that is why the staff were not enthusiastically friendly. Property in need of serious refurbishment. Breakfast is weird. Plain boiled rice with no obvious accomplishments. Better they serve just a Continental breakfast then hopes and expectations will not be raised. An addition fee is charged for an omelette!!
