Quite Disappointed but has a lot of Potentials
It hurts me a lot to leave bad review for boutique hotels but we were disappointed with La Da Kiri since the other reviews were so good and it is rated as a four stars. I think we went in with our expectation setting too high. The condition of the hotel is quite dated, with the bathroom and the floor really need to get an upgrade. The separate shower was so nasty looking we have to pull the curtain for our stay so we do not have to look at it. The bath tub does not have any curtain so every time we took a bath or shower, the whole bathroom is flooded. We can hear the music from a club one house away and every time the room above us moved their chairs. Toilet paper, shampoo, and soap was not replenished until asked. Bed is quite hard. The floor are tiles so you can see the dirt everywhere especially since Siem Reap street are very dusty, you will tread dirt into the room and it stays. The La Da Restaurant food is bad compare to several restaurants that are steps away. Skip the breakfast and eat else were. Bottom line is that this hotel is in a great location though their good days seem to be behind them. Hotel conditions, amenities, and services are on the decline. This place have great potentials if they are willing to invest it in. Lastly, their suite is tiny. The smallest suite I have ever been in. The only thing in the suite is the bed and a small table with a small chair. Any other hotel would have called it a regular room. WiFi is quite slow and keep dropping every 10m.

a good hotel that meet my expectations
i stay for a night in the hotel. it was great. room was big,the bed was comfortable and clean. The bathtub was big and clean .There is a balcony too however there isn't any views . the staff is very helpful and friendly.when it rains ,they let us borrow umbrellas and even help me sent my postcard without any charges.there is a message center with reasonable rates. it is walking distance to night market and there are pubs all around. However the noise of the pubs can be heard tlll like 4 to 5 in the morning. For Muslims ,there is a mosque and a lot of halal eatery very near to the hotel

Stay in Siam Reap
Staff was very supportive and accommodating. Bad location, there is bar across the street that starts at 9PM and “parties” until 4AM. Perfect place for young adults with no specific plans.

Exceptional 10.0
Excellent hotel, great location, lovely staff.
Overall: Excellent Wi-fi: Good Cleanliness: Excellent Location: Excellent, near Pub Street and near many bars/restaurants/stores. Pool: Good (Could use better lighting in the evening, there were rats, but I don’t know if they can control that.) Breakfast: Excellent Staff: Excellent, friendly, helpful. Safe, kettle, fridge. Value for Money: Excellent Notes: This is a wonderful hotel! We extended our stay and will stay here again if we return to SR. Nice, modern furnishings and details. Free airport pickup (Tuk-tuk, so be patient and enjoy the view.) Additional note about the sex-tourism issue (so problematic in SE Asia): These hotel charges $30 US dollars per night for “Lady Joiners”, during our stay, we saw no obvious signs of hotel patrons with sex-workers (fortunately.)

Staffs are very friendly. But rooms are not clean. I suffered from bedbugs bite during the stay.

The hotel itself was fine and right in the middle of everything. The staff was great and the massages were awesome and very cheap. We had planned to stay for a week but ended up leaving half way through because the beds were very, very hard and we could not take them. So, be aware if your not use to sleeping on the floor, this might not be a good fit. The bat and restaurant was great and food was fine!

Comfortable and central 4* Asian NOT western
Close to the nightlife so slight noise in the evening but nothing turely offensive. Clean, cheap and cheerful - not to a Hilton standard but all you need for 3 nights as a place to rest your head. Very happy with our stay. Have travelled a lot in Asia and this is a typical family run hotel. Don’t expect everything to be perfect as it’s not but that’s half the charm and the experience of not staying in a huge chain hotel.

No hot water!
The hotel is in a prime location. A 5 minute walk to Pub Street and not far from the airport. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood so was able to sleep and relax. However, during my stay I had no hot water which I reported TWICE to them, both times were not resolved. I was acknowledged but they did nothing to offer a solution or communicate updates to me. It didn't anger me too much as it was refreshing after a very hot day but some warmer water would've been appreciated. I've stayed in better 4* hotels around the world but this may be the standard in Siem Reap. For the price I paid it was very good value despite the hot water issues.

Dirty and poorly maintained
A dirty and poorly maintained room took the shine off an otherwise good hotel. On arrival the toilet seat was on the floor next to the toilet and the room was very dusty especially the wardrobes. I had to unpack the wardrobe in order to keep my clothes clean. The electrical socket next to the bed wasn’t working, the bedside lamp discarded on the floor and mirror light wasn’t working. Nothing major in those things individually but added up spoilt the overall stay. The toilet seat was fixed immediately on reporting it, the wardrobes were never cleaned despite showing and asking housekeeping to do so and the light was attempted to be fixed but the wrong size light bulb put pay to that. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. I think the management of this hotel need to step up. It could easily be so much better with basic cleaning and maintenance. The hotel is also a bit tired but that could be forgiven if the basics were right as you cannot expected every hotel to be brand new.
