Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo

Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo

10/10 Excellent
"Stayed 3 nights at the hotel in a standard room. The room was small by western standards but was very well appointed and had everything a couple would need. We stored our large suitcases under the bed and it worked out well. There was a desk area and mini fridge as well as a variety of places to store other items. The room appears to have been recently redone and there is plenty of lighting. The bathroom was a good size with a tub and shower combo. The hotel is in a great spot, located on a quiet side street 1 block from a major street. There are 2 JR train stations located a 5-minute walk in either direction. There is also a Family mart directly across the street as well as a 7-11 one block away. The Imperial palace national gardens are about a 15-minute walk while Tokyo station is a 40-minute walk. Ikebukuro is 15 minutes by subway. The hotel is great if you want a budget friendly choice (but more upper-class experience) away from the tourist crowds but still have easy access to everything you want to see and do. There is a restaurant on the main floor as well as a well laid out laundry area/lounge complete with vending machines. It was cheap for a load of laundry and the machine locks with a code, and you can watch its progress on your in-room TV. The staff were great, facilities updated and overall, a great experience. We would highly recommend."

During this time, visitors can discover an array of attractions, including temples, museums, monuments, and vibrant urban areas, all while enjoying budget-friendly options that offer great value for money. With the possibility that prices could drop during these months, it’s an ideal opportunity for travellers on a budget to experience Tokyo's unique blend of tradition and modernity.

  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more affordable stay in a Tokyo hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value.
