Comfortable capsule hotel, reasonably priced
Male and female dormitory are on different floors. Male has common onsen bath, female has bathing cubicles which are limited. Capsule hotel provides basic amenities like sleeping robe, towel etc and each guest is given own locker to store valuables. Capsule is spacious and comfortable. The area has many pubs and night clubs

So-so but location is superb
This capsule hotel is not for couple and family. It is targeting solo traveller or business persons who needs to spend a night at the city after late night. You need to check in and out everyday regardless the length of your stay. If you plan to do a lot of shopping you may not have a place to store your belongings because you need to check out at 10am and only allow to check in again at 4pm, everyday. Most people just store their luggage on the racks provided near the counter but stealing is possible. Capsule bed is good enough for sleep but if you r not used to sleeping without air conditioning or fan you will find it too warm to sleep in the beginning not to mention that you can hear people walking, snoring,. Expect to shower with the public in an open bath, all naked of course, it might be embarrassing for some people to be even naked in front of their friends or family.

Cheap but bad. Will NV stay there again
Most horrible 4 nights of my trip and my life! 5 stars for location. But I can't sleep well every night! The capsules walls are hollow and u can hear everything. I heard snoring, alarm ringing, phone vibrating, ppl knocking on the walls, ppl packing their bags... And I heard all these w my EAR PLUGS ON! All noises seem to b amplified when you r inside the capsule. Everyday you hv to clear ur locker and checkout, thank goodness counter staffs r polite and swift but it's v troublesome to pack ur stuff everyday. Although u can leave ur luggage in the locker room, but it's just sitting on the shelf - unmanned, unlock and unsafe. The locker is just for u to lock ur handbag and keep clothes u r wearing tmr. That's it. There r only 5 bathrooms despite many female beds. So good luck w the queue. WiFi was rubbish. Signs of wear n tear in the capsule. If u r a female n looking for capsule hotel, try mycube @ Asakusa. My goodness. It's like ritz carlton of the hostels! I stayed for 3 nights and I still miss it. Just pls Don stay in this shinjuku capsule hotel. I made a bad choice n I deeply regretted it.
