On arrival was put in a room out of the hotel. There was no option of drinks at the bar. The hotel inside needs a clean and smells. There was only an hand full of people staying there. The pool was covered over. The hotel needs a total refurb.

Very good staff
The Hotel which is a little tired is in a very nice area one thing that spoils it is the unfinished building work, which is just outside the breakfast room and spoils what could be a lovely view of the straits. That aside the hotel staff are very good and very helpful.

This is a great place to stay - gorgeous location, a little dated, but very good people. We totally enjoyed our two nights and great breakfasts. This place offers fantastic value for money.

The room was amazingly clean - like no hotel I've ever been in the cleaners here are amazing.
Great location, very quiet and picturesque.
The only tiny niggles and they are niggles not faults:
The wifi is next to useless unless you're in the main building.
The bed sheets have a plastic sheeting to them so every time you move they crinkle.
The staff are amazing but there's just not enough of them.
We were waiting for 10 mins to check in as the only person who could check us in wasn't around.
But these are silly things that do not detract from an amazing stay
Would definitely stay again!

Great place! Lovely people!
I had a lovely stay at the Port Dinorwic. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. So nice to stay in a family run hotel and restaurant. The views from the breakfast room over the Menai are stunning.

Lovely family run hotel
The hotel was lovely and staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing both the cooked breakfast to the restaurant dinner we had.
The beds were comfortable the room facilities great and we used the pool and sauna which were great after climbing Mount Snowdon in terrible weather. The only negative we had was that our bathroom had no heater and the electric shower did not produce a very hot water (although the bath taps did). Apart from that and the fact it was not very glamorous we couldn’t fault our stay or the service.
Fantasic views from the breakfast room and restaurant too. Definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel with fantastic views.
We had a fantastic comfortable apartment overlooking the harbour. It was well located for everything we wanted to do, inc climbing Mt Snowden, the car park to which was 15 mins away
The apartment was comfortable, homely and very spacious.

Very disappointed
The setting and views are great but the rooms are very tired and run down. I didn't use the pool or eat here (their menu had only 3 main courses) so can't comment on them. At £98.50/night for B&B its far too expensive!
