Wonderful stay in Kyoto
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect - with easy access to taxis when we needed to go somewhere outside of walking distance. The neighborhood around the hotel is great. The staff were incredibly helpful. The breakfast was delicious!

We visited Kyoto for 3 days and this hotel was in a perfect location. It is only a few steps from subway and there is a 7/11 convenience store right outside the front door. The staff speaks fluent english and they helped us stow our luggage and gave us recommendations on things to do while we waited for checkin. The room was very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay T this property again.

overall nice experience
The room and environment are very clean and spotless, the ice machine, which I truly appreciate. However, I noticed that the tap water has an unusual smell and taste, likely due to the pipes. We’ve had to purchase water from the convenience store. While the cost is reasonable, carrying a 2L bottle of water back every night can be quite inconvenient. I would suggest providing complimentary bottled water for guests each night of their stay, as I’ve seen other hotels offer this service. It would be a thoughtful addition to the overall guest experience if this would happen.

Nice new hotel in Kyoto
We were in Kyoto visiting with friends. This is a newer hotel which is beautiful and in a convenient location. Unfortunately they don’t offer parking. There check in process is very strange, you wait in line, checkin and then need to go to a kiosk to get your keys.

Excellent location within walking distance of Nishiki market and other areas. Room was spacious, we could have both our suitcases open and still have space. Bed was firm, pillows were ok. Bathroom is standard small size but functional. Onsen - is more of a hot tub rather than a normal onsen so is more chlorinated and it bubbles. Hotel doesn’t offer luggage transfer service, and the nearby 7/11 wasn’t able to help so we had to take our luggage to one that was around a 10-15 min walk away.
