The bed and breakfast is about 8 km from Avignon near a small village. It's on pleasant grounds and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Access is by code after hours so you need to contact them for the code if you plan late arrival. There are only a few dining options nearby and they close at 9 pm.

false advertising
on the website I had the choice of 1 double bed and a single or 3 single beds. I chose the latter one. When arrived was told that never had 3 singles and we had to put up with 1 double and a single. Also the picture is not at all the picture of the place and needs to be changed. Location is very difficult to find and directions or signs too few.

disappointment
1st. very difficult to find. 2- does not at all look like the picture. this is false advertisement. 3- In the booking, we had the preference of 1 double bed and a single or 3 singles beds.....learned that they never had 3 singles...... and of course we had to put up with a double and single for 3 older ladies.

Lovely staff but basic room
Generally good experience. Although the room was old and outdated, the friendly and welcoming staff made up for it. The linens were a bit tired. The room is a good size though.

Somewhat frustrating but cheap for one night
We arrived at 10pm at Avignon TGV and got to the hotel at around 11pm with a rental car. Even though it only suppose to be a 10 minute drive, the location is really hard to find at night if it's the first time you've been to this area. The main garage door leading to the hotel is locked with a code that will only be given to you after you got in. We got lucky when we get there as someone else from the hotel was coming back and unlocked the door for us. I guess if you inform the hotel owner ahead of time you could probably avoid this but we don't really have a foreign working phone with us at that time.
Anyway, when we got to the rooms it looks very dated and nothing like what the pictures are shown. I guess they sugar-coated the pictures a bit. We got here mid July and it's really hot in the room at night. The most disappointing thing is that there are no AC in the room at all. Or maybe it's a central AC for the whole hotel that feels non existence. Therefore, in order to stay cool you have to open the windows... but guess what, there are no screening on the window. In a summer night with a open window you can expect all the bugs to fly into your room. In the end we got like 10 mosquitoes bites on the two of us the next morning... so frustrating...
The only good this is that the hotel staff is really friendly and english speaking when we checked in... only come here if you are looking for a cheap one night stay.

Quiet hotel with French country feel
I enjoyed having breakfast at the garden tables in the early morning sunshine as well as a refreshing swim in the pool in the late afternoon sunshine.

Nice hotel in a quiet town
This hotel was a great experience. The room was clean, the staff were lovely and overall the stay was a pleasant experience. The town was very quiet so we ended up driving to avignon for dinner, other than that, the place was a perfect getaway from the big cities.

Great place to stay
Was a great place to stay - we enjoyed the hotel and especially the breakfasts in the garden and the local restaurants - also the taxi fares to Avignon made it all readily accessible

Quiet place
We enjoyed our stay at the place. It was a small town about 5. Min drive to Avignon. The hotel has a nice pool and garden area to sit and enjoy. Breakfast can be served at dining room or outside. Nice to have ground level room to walk out to the garden.

That was a fantastic surprise to find such a beauty in the beautiful Provence. It was a great escape from hustle and bustle of big city to silence and peaceful life of small village. Good service, charming hotel, and we definitely return back again

A hidden gem
Booked here for two nights during the Avignon Festival and did not regret it! Delightful hotel in a lovely rural setting. Very quiet with nice gardens for relaxing and a good size pool to cool down in. Staff very helpful and good sized, clean and fresh room. Only took us an easy 10 minute car journey to be at the Isle park and ride where we had easy access to the city. Very reasonably priced and breakfast on the patio or in the garden is idyllic. As runners we were able to find some great wooded countryside at the end of the road to run each morning. We are definitely staying here again next time we come to Avignon!

Peaceful and awesome
We are on an 8 week trip across Europe...this is the first place we have stayed where we wished we could stay longer. In the middle on the country, quiet and peaceful. Delicious breakfast served to us in the garden. Nice pool.

Charming little get away
I was looking to get away from the congestion of larger cities to find some relaxation. This hotel is in a charming little town which provided the peaceful setting that I was looking for. There is a pool which I did not get to use, but I did enjoy sitting outside of the hotel and relaxing with a drink.

What did I like about my stay? Everything. The hostess was friendly and obliging, the grounds are gorgeous and my room opened up to its own little patio-garden. Just a few minutes from Avignon.

Castel Mouisson - gateway to the Provence
It is a nice place. We made it the base to our journeys to St. Remy, Arles, Nimes, Aix, Luberon villages and Avignon. The hotel is nice and the hosts are really warm. It was extremely comfortable at the hotel.
Please ensure that you have the right street address if you are using a GPS since the address does not show up correctly on Google Maps...

Exploration of Avignon, Orange and surroundings
I liked Barbentane very much. This small village forgotten by turist and just 1/2 hour drive from Avignon was a very nice starting point for exploration of the region. I would consider to stay in this hotel again any time.
Just to note that there are only a couple of restaurants in the village but we had one of the best meals there during our trip through southern France.

Quiet location and close to Avignon
A great B&B located just outside Avignon - a must visit city in South of France. The hotel is located in a quiet location of the village of Berbantane. Ideally, one should stay more than one night to appreciate the place and the surrounding areas. The owner was very friendly and helpful and made sure to book us a table for dinner as there were no restaurant in the hotel and our late arrival on a Tuesday evening didn't help with the local restaurants closing early for business. would recommend it strongly especially during the Summer period.

Not so impressed!
This was a simple French Provence accomodation, clean but not impressive. The hair dryer took me forever to get my hair dried. The location was hard to find. It had a charming country feel and the location was central to see Provence. The breakfast was fine. I love Provence, so I had an absolutely wonderful time!

Not very impressed - out in the sticks and old fashioned. Needs updating.
The hotel was well managed and very attractive on the outside. Hard to find however and had to take many very narrow roads with water filled gullys either side (scary) to get to it. The rooms are old fashioned and need updating. Despite radiators in the room it was very cold and had to borrow a portable heater from the front desk. No frills or anything fancy. Pretty basic accommodation. Shower curtain was too short and ineffective and the whole bathroom floor was afloat after each shower despite our efforts to keep the water in the tub area. We got on our hands and knees to mop the floor each time to avoid any potential slip and fall. TV was very high up (to the ceiling) and very small. Room service was prompt and good. Price was too high for what we got. Would never go back.
