Great hotel in a lovely city.
Wonderful hotel. Spacious room with high ceilings. Super friendly staff. Great initiative giving the choice of vouchers towards drinks instead of room cleaning! Fab location in a lovely city. The nicest hotel we’ve stayed in Exeter.

HOTEL Du Vin
Short but sweet stay. Pool was out of order for renovation which was disappointing. Our room had no shower gel. Unable to book a parking space. Not enough water in the room so make sure you take your own because like me who drinks water through the night when thirsty it was a struggle. Room was freezing but beautifully decorated. On the plus side they do a happy hour on certain drinks.

Nice hotel. Excellent staff.
Staff were the best part of this short break. They couldnt be anymore helpful. The room itself was pretty small with the thinest wardrobe i have ever seen. Hotel was in excellent order and well located. Car park next door was handy as £20 a day to park at your hotel is steep. Also paying £25 for a dog each day needs to be taken into account.

Recent stay
I’ve stayed at this hotel twice and whilst it’s a beautiful building and the staff are great, I’ve had issues both times. Last night the air conditioning was stuck at 25 degrees and they couldn’t change it. I was moved to a tiny room at 2am. They did give me a 50% discount on my stay which was generous. The hotel is generally noisy as it’s an old building, on the main road with a lot of doors that slam.

Great Stay with a Minor Parking Issue
We had a fantastic two-night stay at Hotel du Vin in Exeter. The breakfasts were excellent, and we enjoyed delicious drinks and nibbles at the bar while staying warm by the wood burner. The location is great—an easy walk into town—and the overall atmosphere was lovely.
However, there was one frustration with the hotel’s parking system. We had reserved a spot, which was great when we arrived as our name was displayed clearly. But when we returned in the evening, someone else had parked in our space. Unfortunately, the hotel was unable to assist and suggested we park in someone else's reserved spot. I would suggest the hotel implement a better system perhaps a parking pass system. Additionally, a polite notice could be placed on the windscreen of any car parked in a reserved spot, explaining that the parking is reserved. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is in a good location, but pricey. The breakfast wasn’t great overcooked eggs and toast under done. The bar is small and over congested with tables/seats. I was able to park the car for £20 per day fee but convenient

Hotel du Vin Exeter
As ever a great stay at the Hotel du Vin Exeter, friendly and professional staff and lovely rooms, and mine was no exception this time.
The breakfast was made to order which was absolutely delicious, it really is a USP in these days of hotels serving up a dried up breakfast buffet kept tepid under lights and bland scrambled eggs which have no colour or taste. So to conclude, great hotel and staff, superb customer service and excellent food!

It was a nice stay. Just the bed was unexpectedly small, a large single bed more than a double

Great hotel - but arrange your parking up ahead!
Fabulous hotel. luxury feel. Great location and great food in the restaurant.
Parking is tight but we booked and the space was reserved for us.
I doubt the BMW driver had reserved a space and ended up carelessly parked without a proper space or consideration for anyone else - resulting in a million point turn to get out of my pre-booked spot!
