Better than expected
Doesn’t deserve the extreme bad reviews. Undoubtedly needs an upgrade/modernisation in terms of decoration, however the rooms are clean, well-equipped and big; the beds are comfortable; and the staff are friendly. Definitely does the job if you want a cheap-ish one-night stay.

Run down
Hotel is looking very run down. Burn marks on the stairs at the 9th floor. Fire alarm went off at 08:15 on check out day and didn’t seem particularly well organised response.

Excellent value for money stay. Emily on reception and in the bar/restaurant were very helpful and friendly and were instrumental in us booking to stay again when next in Cannock for business. Good size rooms including air conditioning and a fridge Nice large towels and clean room. Easy free parking as well. Recommended.

The room, 504, was in need updating. The mattress was sunken and uncomfortable. The hand basin is unstable, Room was not very clean with dust everywhere. In need of total redecoration.

Those are know issues for months but mentioned to the clients during booking. Dishonest.
