I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sonno Cielito. Very warm and welcoming staff. Great communication via email prior to stay. Perfect location in Tulum, close to main shopping area, so many dining options within walking distance. I also hired a bike from the hotel and was easily able to access the Tulum ruins for one of my days. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, answering any questions I had throughout my day. Loved the cup of coffee that was available each morning. The room exceeded my expectations, exactly as described and matches the pictures. Very cool, relaxing and quiet. The decor is fantastic and a real treat to return here to relax each day during my busy activity schedule. Well priced and great value for the spacious comfortable private room with exceptional service. The pool area is great, lovely sunsets from elevated areas and balcony. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend staying here.

By the time we arrived at ADO Tulum Terminal, I followed directions from Expedia through Google Maps, expecting a 5-minute walk to the hotel. Instead, we found an empty public space. Both the Expedia and Google Maps had the wrong address. We walked for over an hour with our luggage, asking for help, but the phone numbers provided were also incorrect. Finally, with assistance from locals, we reached the hotel close to midnight. The hotel staff were unaware of the duplicate Google entries with incorrect addresses and phone numbers. They did not apologize or acknowledge the mistake. Additionally, the room was dirty, the bathroom was dark and damp, and the balcony was too dusty to use. One staff member we encountered was very unfriendly. Overall, it was a highly disappointing experience.

The address is not listed properly on Expedia, therefore we thought we were booking something in a different area. The location isn’t necessarily bad, but it wasn’t what we expected. The room is cool and we were stoked to be there nonetheless. We had initially booked a week, as it looked alright, and was close enough to what we wanted so we rolled with the flow. I cannot understate this enough: This is the worst bed I have ever slept on. I’ve slept on desert rocks and under trees that were more comfortable than this bed. I travel a lot and stay in random places all the time but this was hands down the worst. We left after 6 days feeling like we’d been hit by a Mack truck! A rug on the ground would have been better. A yoga mat. That really sank the hotel for us. Other than that, it ain’t that bad.

Absolute bargain and amazing hotel
Absolute amazing hotel, I was a little unsure at first as they didn’t have any reviews and was worried it might not be as it appears in the photos. The room I got was exactly how it looks in the photos but I can say actually better, much better and bigger. Very spacious, great location, 15 minutes walk to bus station. Just how you expect a boutique hotel to be. The staff are amazing and friendly and always willing to help you. Have a restaurant next door which serve delicious food. I would highly recommend and would come to stay here again every time I visit tulum. Thanks so much for making my experience even better. Only other feedback I would like to give is that checkout at 12 is better then 11 like most other hotels in Mexico other that that 5 stars from me and see you next time. Habib

L'hébergement est correctement situé à Tulum. Il est joliment décoré, le lit est grand et confortable. Maintenant le ménage laisse à désirer : poussière, moisissures dans le frigo, piscine qui verdit. Le personnel est agréable et est toujours prêt à nous aider.

Buen hotel
Buen hotel pero está mal la ubicación, en realidad se encuentra lejos de donde dice mas de 1km mal y eso afectó un poco nuestros planes ya que lo elegimos por estar cerca del ADO de Tulum lo cual es INCORRECTO, al final igual disfrutamos pero tuvimos q tomar taxi para llegar al ADO

I'hotel e' molto bello sia esternamente che internamente. Nuovo, molto curato ; al secondo piano c'e' una bella piscina. La camera era spaziosa, bell'arredamento con aria condizionata e un balcone grande e un bel bagno. Forse l'unica scomodita' sono i due piani di scale se uno ha bagagli pesanti. Il personale e' molto gentile, professionale e di aiuto. Rete wifi veloce. Io ho trascorso 9 gg e mi sono trovata molto bene. Lo consiglio vivamente!
