The Niles Hotel has a terrific staff. It is located just 3 blocks from the tram station, therefore, making it very easy to get to the main sites in Istanbul. Additionally, the entrance to the Grand Bazaar is just a 5 minute walk. The rooms are basic, but fine. The bed was a bit low for me, but overall okay. The breakfasts were fine. We stayed for a full week, and will certainly return on any future trip to Istanbul.

The enclosed, rooftop, glass-roofed breakfast room had views of dozens of shops at anchor on Sea of Marmara— and a nice breakfast. It’s a small property— we appreciated the size. Short walk to the main tram line (cheap & frequent) that takes you the old town sites if you don’t want to walk. We’ll be back.
