Amazing hotel in a great location
Amazing hotel in a great location. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was lovely - comfortable bed, nice little extras and an outdoor seating area. Happy hour was a bonus and everything was in short walking distance (including the train station). Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

weekend away
Nice hotel have stayed before but in the main building.
The room we stayed in is overdue for a re vamp as the wallpaper was peeling off and badly marked and the bath panel needed replacing both of which I advised to reception.

Hotel is lovely. The cosy doubke is small. Also, he aware that the hotel car park is only for patrons, but you are charged £12 a day extra, which is a bit of a con and should he included in the stay. So factor that into your fees

Lovely old hotel near the station and centre of Canterbury. There are more comfortable places to stay, remember to duck your head in the shower. But that’s why it is so unique. Will definitely stay next time.

Fabulous stay
Amazing hotel full of history. Gorgeous clean room and a bath to die for. Will definitely be back. The young lad on reception that looked after us was fantastic. He even came to find us when our room was ready early. A very old building full of character and squeaky floorboards but that just added to its charm.

Really beautiful property, well appointed bathrooms, beautifully decorated rooms, very very comfortable. Delicious breakfasts, nice bar. Right across the street from the main drag of Canterbury. Half a block from train and bus. I had a car, and it cost me nearly £100 for the 4 days I had to park my car--it's a shame guests can't park for free or at least at a reduced rate. It's my only complaint.
