Great resort
This resort is great, the rooms are big and location is great. Nice beach right in front to swim and snorkel. Only complaint is we stayed 2 nights and no room service. The problem was we had to track down staff for coffee every morning. Another weird thing was no shampoo or conditioner.

Beach towel service ended at 530 so you could never get a dry clean towel after sunset. The front desk has very limited hours. The property is pretty and it’s easy to walk to nearby beaches. There is no housekeeping available for short stays and you have to take out your own trash. Much closer to a vacation rental than a resort.

This was our fifth stay at Kiahuna and it will be our last. The property looked and felt a bit tired and our unit was mediocre at best, with poor bed (and a failed attempt to improve it with a 3-inch foam mattress pad that made it worse), portable fans that did not work, and a kitchen that lacked somewhat. Not what we remembered from past visits.

This property is right on the beach and the beach is beautiful. The grounds are lovely. It is a very short walk to Poipu beach, another beach, which is excellent for snorkeling and seeing turtles. It's really nice to have a full condo, however the one we were in was not exceptionally nice considering the price. The sofa was ripped, the fridge had a lot of rust, the utensils were very sparse, the plates and glasses were the bare minimum, and there wasn't even salt and pepper. The pool is pretty far away (across a street) but it wasn't really needed with the ocean so close. There was a small shopping center across the way which was nice to have.
