I had to switch rooms twice so not a good experience. When I tried to call the front desk it sent me to voicemail. I had to ask to have my room cleaned after two days and no one came to clean it. They didn’t come until the last day of my stay. Overall the service was poor and given all the options I’ll stay somewhere else for my next trip
Very very slow check in and check out process. Either optimized the process or hire more staffs
Dated, even when we stayed at Ali Tower. We were supposed to checkin at Ali tower but it was not open. Many places were dirty and not well cleaned. Took a long time to wait for checkin or even just to ask questions. We decided to leave the hotel earlier and stayed at another hotel instead.
Worst of Hilton properties, despite a great location that gives you better choices and luxurious experience you expect in Hawaiian Vacation. Unfriendly Staff to help, poor or missing Housekeeping despite scheduling for Daily at time of check-in, Parking is expensive than per Day 7-seater Car we took, while they try to offer discount if you rent from their partner who occupies their 3 floors of parking space but rents at double the rate than we got at Airport, so you lose money to them essentially. Also, that discounted parking doesn't allow you full day in/out. Towels were spotted many times, 2-star bathroom fittings and broken too with no upgrades for years clearly. View is the only savior but who doesn't have it there as better choices to make. You want 4-star experience but it's not, it's a 2.5 star at best. Swimming pool is 3ft so you have to go to the sea. No heating in pool for cooler hours, closes early. We found beach sand on our check-in, so much claim for sanitization if they can't even vacuum properly in run down carpet that's not plush even a bit, more like hard floor if your kid falls while running around. Even the room had soda can and stale fruit seeds under the bed, as we happened to look for something we dropped. Elevator has lines despite covid-19 and you are fighting for elevators as you have to punch your floor at common terminal that assigns you and everyone else the same elevator to take, no contactless or safety or sanitization for high touch points.
The property had just re-opened 12/15 after COVID closures, and didn't believe it was properly ready to accept guests. The room and the location was fantastic. The water features and the lagoon had a nasty smell, signs of not being maintained during closure. Shower did not work the first night, refrigerator was unplugged and the A/C rattle was very loud. They were all fixed the next day. I will consider staying again hoping the property gets restored. The staff was great when you were able to talk to someone, but their availability was terrible. Long lines, long waits on service calls or unanswered calls without any explanation.
The room was missing several amenities. Other than that, great view, pools and beach.
Our room needed to be updated. Their was paint peeling off one of the walls. Mattresses need to be replaced. My granddaughter said that her mattress smelled like pee!
Besides being shut down.
Our family had been looking forward to this trip for over a year. We had two rooms here for all 8 of our family members. The resort was okay, when Arrived at the resort to check in the woman was less than enthusiastic. Throughout the trip we had cold water in both our rooms for 2 days. Fireworks were cancelled, we were told the movie night was cancelled, yet we walked by the night of about 30 minutes in and the movie was on. They didn’t light the torches when we asked staff about it they were unknowledgeable about the situation. It seemed like every member of the staff that we asked questions said they didn’t know. Rooms definitely need updating. For the amount of money you pay to stay somewhere like this I expected much better service.
