8/10 Very good

8/10 Very good

Nice hotel - lots of refurbishment undertaken
Despite reading negative reviews our "Sky Room" was excellent. It looked brand new abd the en suite was spotless and also looked new. The entrance, foyer and cirrudirs were all in great condition. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Clearly there has been a lot of refurbishment. A nice place to stay.

A good night's stay
Considering that the hotel is going through a refurbishment at present, my stay was a good one. It is in a good location in the centre of Ullapool and very convenient.

6/10 Good

This is a tired hotel which badly needs a makeover. There is no lift which we found disappointing for the size of the place. Breakfast was expensive at £15 each which is the most we paid along our NC500 trip.

Better than expected
Having read other reviews my expectations were not high but I was pleasantly surprised. My single room was a good size, recently refurbished. The bed was the most comfortable of any hotel I stayed in on my tour of Scotland. The hotel warned in advance that they did not serve dinner. This was not a problem as there are plenty of alternatives close by. Staff were friendly and hand sanitiser readily available.

Convenient to ferry and shopping. Clean and great bed. Only complaint no lift.

Average hotel
Average. Noisy floorboards from floor above room 211. Woke up every time they did above us. Hotel being refurbished, we had a refurbished room which was ok but not brilliant. Breakfast was expensive so didn’t even try it. Went to The Cult for breakfast which was good value and quality.
