Nice hotel, miserable service
Such a shame. A nice hotel in a good location but the service was woeful and quite frankly miserable at breakfast. A smile costs nothing! Took ages to take people’s room numbers to be seated, hard to get attention to place an order. Generally made feel like an inconvenience. The food was lovely though!

Very Comfortable and Clean with Excellent Service
Stayed in Quay View Twin Room - very clean and comfortable with great view of the quay. Fridge stocked with couple of small bottles of water and some long life milk. Iron and ironing board readily to hand in the room. Very professional and friendly Reception staff. I was very nearly put off by other reviewers re lack of AC and the room was very warm when I entered, however one window does open slightly and that was good enough for me. I love that they do the chair and footstool - very comfy to watch the big TV rather than lying on bed. I didn't have time to use the pool facilities this visit, or have breakfast but I will certainly try to have a another visit this year. The standard of cleanliness and service along with pool facilities it was certainly worth the nightly rate. My sleep was disturbed by the Night Manager dealing with a problem guest nearby but shortly thereafter peace was resumed.

Good hotel needs some love in areas
The hotel itself is in a good location. It is just abit rundown. The reception desk you can see all the paint peeling on the actual desk itself. This looks untidy but obviously dont effect you as a guest. The beds are very firm and the pillows are too soft. It aas hard to get a good nights sleep. The hot tub was also out of order. Other than that the hotel is really nice and the housekeeping do an excellent job. The window cleaner only seems to clean the first 1 floors of windows. Ours was covered in bird poo the duration of our stay.
