Amazing experience
The hotel is located center of the most famous street "İstiklal Caddesi". Breakfast is so good, lots of variety, everything is fresh and delicious. The reception personel is very helpful and kind. They upgraded our room which has amazing bosphorus view. I am looking forward for my next visit. It is definetly worth for your money.

Very convenient location and friendly staff. I should mention Solin at breakfast food court ( my friend left her necklace on the table , next day when we walked in for breakfast Solin brought the necklace to us and said you dropped your necklace yesterday, reception desk and bell boys all very courteous and friendly and lastly the housekeeping lady was extremely nice and polite and did an amazing job to keep our room clean.

Nice hotel in the most vibrant area of Istanbul - you step out and you are amidst all the shopping, party, architecture and culture this area can offer. We didn't get the upgrade we requested as gold members, but... Hopefully next time. Breakfast could be better having in mind what the famous Turkish breakfast could be.

Best Hotel in Istiklal
As first-time visitors to Istanbul, we wanted to stay on Istiklal Street, so we booked three nights at this hotel. Because it’s located right on Istiklal Avenue, we were a bit worried about noise at night and whether we’d have trouble sleeping. However, even though we stayed on the second floor, we couldn’t hear any noise from outside at all. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. Cleanliness was a priority; our room was cleaned every day. They even replaced the single-use toothbrush and toothpaste they provided daily. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We chose to have breakfast at the hotel on two of the days, and the options were quite sufficient and filling. The hotel is close to many places to visit in Beyoğlu. We explored Galata Tower, the Santa Maria Draperis Church, St. Anthony’s Church, the Crimean Memorial Church, and the Old French Orphanage all on foot. There are also plenty of dining options around the hotel, from pizza to sushi, as well as numerous pubs nearby. Famous spots for baklava and other desserts are also within easy reach of the hotel. On the day we wanted to visit the Topkapı area, we walked about 10 minutes to the metro and went straight there. The only downside to the hotel is that getting there from the waterfront involves climbing a rather steep hill, and unfortunately there’s no way around it. Apart from that, we were satisfied with everything about the hotel.

Had such an amazing stay at this hotel. Definitely one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at thus far while traveling abroad. From the moment you walk in the receptionists take care of you in such a great manner. Not only are they nice they also go out of their way to help you with what ever your needs may be. Situated perfectly on a street with lots to do. Arda (front desk) was excellent and treated us so well! The staff definitely made our stay in Istanbul much better and at ease. Thank you!

I am fully satisfied with my stay at Richmond hotel. Fast check in, kind personnel speaking english language. Large and cleaned room, comfortable bed, bathroom with wide shower, compliments food and water. Despite the window on the crowed Istiklal Kaddesi, it was very noiseless room. AC powerful. Breakfast rich and various. All was ok. The position is wonderful close the south ending of Istiklal Caddesi and Galata tower, full of shops, restaurants and elegant cafès, with rapid access to Galata bridge. I think I will come back here next time in Istanbul.
