Forget Capital Grab & Go!
We were upgraded on arrival to Room 4508, while quite nice it was a very compact room. Overall we had a good stay but the food and service in Capital Grab and Go certainly lets the hotel down. I have a ‘grilled chicken baguette which had been over microwaved and rendered inedible as rock hard. The chips we also ordered were all stuck together- overall a truly awful snack. Breakfast very well organised and seemed to operate efficiently.

The hotel location was great with it being so close to Times Square and the subway. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of choice- pancakes, cereals, pastries, eggs, bacon and fruit. The hotel itself was really modern, clean and spacious rooms.

DO NOT STAY HERE!
I would recommend that no one ever stay at this hotel. First, the wait for the elevators at times was over 15 minutes. Completely unacceptable! They offer breakfast and dedicate the use of one of the elevators for this. During this service, it takes 15-20 minutes to use one of the other two available elevators. Additionally, one of the other elevators was out of service during check-in and not one of the staff offered to help to get this fixed. Finally, I was going to the airport after checkout and they offered a car service. DO NOT accept this!!! The driver was extremely rude and dangerous and took a route that added to the travel time. Halfway through the ride, he told me it was cash only - which I did not have. He drove me to a gas station in a sketchy neighborhood to use an ATM. He also refused to help with bags. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!

Disappointed
The check went fine, friendly person. In general hotel staff were not friendly or polite, this was disappointing. The wait for breakfast was long everyday which made it prohibitive and so this was a rip off. We often didn’t have time to wait in the long line and so had to then pay for food somewhere else. You need to figure something out here. Perhaps have a second dining room for the upper floors to accommodate the number of guests. This is not the airport but a decent hotel and thus we should be treated this way. The fitness room was very nice. In general very disappointed. And I’ve stayed in many hotels over my lifetime.
